Carmen Kaimann, Ph.D., LSSP, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Carmen Kaimann received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nebraska in 1983. She has also been trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Houston-Galveston Psychoanalytic Institute.

Dr. Kaimann is also a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) and is recognized for her skill in conducting psychological and neuropsychological evaluations. Dr. Kaimann has completed the training necessary for court-ordered parent facilitation and parent coordination. She has extensive experience in child custody evaluations and providing expert psychological testimony.

Understanding human behavior and helping people to maximize their personal potential are two principal driving forces behind Dr. Kaimann’s lengthy career. She began working in the mental health field in 1969 and has specialized in testing and evaluations.

Dr. Kaimann’s philosophy is that “the truly educated never graduate,” which applies to both learning about oneself and one’s relationships with others. She continually encourages her staff to pursue a higher level of professional expertise through further education.

Dr. Kaimann has over 30 years of experience and expertise in providing both evaluations and therapy with adults and children. Comprehensive psychological batteries are utilized to determine the nature of the presenting problem diagnoses and to provide specific recommendations for treatment.
